Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, the daughter of a musician from Mexico was born into a music-loving family. The music she grew up with was classic, old boleros as well as traditional romantic and Ranchero songs. Ana loves tangos as well the dramatic and opera performances. Her mother teaches her how to sing. However, she started intensive training in vocals through Flavio Belcerra, who was 16 at the time when he was a renowned Mexican opera Tenor. She studied in Guadalajara at the School of Music of University of Guadalajara and then in Toluca at The School of Sacred Music. In Guadalajara along with Mexico City, she was an active member of numerous chamber and opera choirs. She sang in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to southern California. She's a frequent solo performer at events, private parties and other occasions and performs traditional Latin American Music. as a music teacher and musician, she is committed to many projects in the community because of her love and love for music. Ana was also a part of the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is presently a professor at the Performance Loft. Ana is hoping that, by sharing her knowledge her love of Latin American traditional songs, that she can inspire a love, especially among the younger generation to keep this tradition alive.
